Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical Nurse Specialist to join our team. This 26-week contract position offers a competitive salary of $**120,000 - $150,000 per year**, depending on experience.

About the Role

This Medical-Surgical Nurse Specialist will work in a Level 2 Trauma Center with 411 beds, providing care for patients with various medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Med/Tele and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, maintaining patient ratios, and administering medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care for surgical, vascular surgeries, urology, general/GI, ortho, ENT, plastics, neurosurgery, and medical overflow patients.
  • Maintain patient safety and well-being by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing other nursing interventions as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with charge nurses, CNAs, and resource nurses to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide excellent patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Active RN license in the United States; CNA certification also accepted.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Tele or acute care setting.
  • BLS and basic EKG certification required for RNs.
