Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Operating Room setting, ensuring a safe and efficient experience for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans, promoting positive patient outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Monitor patient vital signs, respond to emergencies, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of New York.
- 2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting.
- 1 year of recent experience specializing in Operating Room procedures.
- Basic Life Support certification.
