Meat and Seafood Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat/Seafood Clerk to join our team at Big Y. As a key member of our grocery department, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, weigh, and package products for sale
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, backroom, and equipment
- Operate and maintain equipment, such as scales and packaging machines
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a retail or grocery environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
