Microbiologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Microbiology Technologist to join our team at KA Recruiting Inc. in the Northwestern Indiana area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will perform clinical laboratory procedures, examinations, and tests pursuant to established protocols, maintaining equipment and records, and performing quality assurance activities requiring independent judgment and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory tests and examinations to diagnose and monitor diseases.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of laboratory results.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate test results.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide laboratory support and guidance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college or university.
• ASCP or NCA certification required.
• 2 years of satisfactory work experience in an accredited clinical laboratory, including 1 year in a laboratory with range and volume of testing, and types of instrumentation similar to this institution.
