Position Summary

The Clinical Nurse I is responsible for delivering professional nursing care through comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in alignment with facility or departmental policies and protocols under the guidance of the nursing leadership. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe working environment and executing all job responsibilities safely. The nurse maintains clinical and professional competency appropriate to the patient demographics served.

Physical Requirements
The role requires mobility including walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. The ability to lift and support up to 35 pounds is necessary for handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Proficiency in English communication is required. Candidates must possess intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch, along with finger dexterity. Critical thinking skills and the ability to concentrate are essential. Quick responsiveness to changes in patient and/or unit conditions is necessary. Physical abilities testing may be required.

Education, Experience, and Certifications
Candidates must be graduates from an accredited School of Nursing. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Current Basic Life Support certification is required per policy guidelines. A valid RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of practice is mandatory.
