Instructor - Develop Innovation & Research Department

We are seeking a highly dedicated Instructor to join our team at Monmouth Medical Center, a leading academic health system in New Jersey. As an Instructor, you will play a critical role in implementing theory-based nursing practice and enhancing cost-effective quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Conduct annual competency assessments of nursing staff
- Consult with staff nurses, clinical directors, physicians, administrators, and other professionals on practice-related issues
- Contribute to performance evaluations of nursing staff
- Coordinate and facilitate nursing orientation
- Develop and conduct educational programs for nursing staff, patients, and families
- Develop nursing standards of practice, standards of patient care, and policies and procedures with staff registered nurses
- Enhance own professional growth and development through continuing education, independent study, and participation in professional organizations
- BS/BSN degree
- Minimum of three years current experience in areas of specialization required
- One-year experience with demonstrated leadership/management required
- BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
