Logistics Specialist

As a Logistics Specialist at Performance Foodservice, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery of food and food-related products to customers across the country.

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 per year, with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections on tractor/trucks and trailers, adhering to Department of Transportation regulations.
• Deliver customer orders according to predetermined routes and schedules, while ensuring timely and safe arrival of products.
• Interact with customers professionally, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel consumption, and other relevant metrics.

Requirements:

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience
• Valid CDL A license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clean MVR record
• Ability to lift and maneuver product cases/freight of varying size and weight
