Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals, new business, and existing clients
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow business and increase revenue
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide expert advice to clients
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • 5+ years of commercial insurance experience, preferably in an account management or sales role
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including liability, property, and workers' compensation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Insurance designations, such as CPCU or CIC
  • Experience with commercial insurance software, such as Vertafore
  • Knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes
