Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floral Clerk to join our team at Pay Less, a part of the Kroger family of companies. As a Floral Clerk, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with their floral needs, designing and creating beautiful arrangements, and maintaining a clean and organized floral department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with their floral needs, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Design and create beautiful floral arrangements and other items to fill customer orders, using your creativity and attention to detail.
  • Package orders effectively, safely, and efficiently, ensuring that customers receive their purchases in excellent condition.
  • Maintain a clean and organized floral department, including the display of merchandise, the upkeep of plants, and the proper storage of supplies.
  • Operate a cash register in accordance with company procedures, handling customer transactions and making change as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, present information in a professional manner, and work with all levels of the organization.
  • Personal initiative and follow-through to completion, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
