We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team in Newnan, Georgia. This is a 13-week contract position that requires 36 hours of work per week, with a salary of $27000 per week (tax-free stipend amount to be determined). As a Nurse Specialist on our Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.

About the Position

This role requires at least one year of experience in Inpatient Oncology and/or Bone Marrow Transplant units. The ideal candidate will possess skills in administering chemotherapy, managing graft-versus-host disease, and performing other tasks related to bone marrow transplants. A preferred candidate will have CHEMO certification (OCN) and BMT/Stem Cell/Cellular Therapy experience.

Job Requirements
  • Current RN License, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
  • BLS (AHA only, no Heart Code)
  • ACLS (AHA only)

The successful candidate will be required to float between various departments, including IMCU, and work every other weekend. Proficiency in Pyxis medication systems, EPIC documentation, and SBAR communication is essential.
