At Crate Escape Pet Resort, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Dog Care Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time position with an estimated salary of $15-$25 per hour based on 15-25 hours of work per week.

Job Overview

This role involves providing top-notch care and attention to our small dog guests while their owners are away. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and be comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in playtime activities with multiple small dogs indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Maintaining accurate records of dog behavior and reporting any concerns to management
  • Administering medication and feeding according to owner instructions
  • Cleaning up after accidents and maintaining the cleanliness of the indoor and outdoor play areas
  • Laundering bedding and toys
  • Assisting with yard work in the outdoor play area
  • Maintaining daily cleaning schedules
  • Participating in rotating bedtime shifts

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a genuine affection for dogs. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as reliable transportation. Animal handling experience is preferred but not necessary.
