We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Mercy Hospital Perry. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for pre-admission screening, testing, and educating patients of all age groups.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Admission Screening: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their suitability for surgical procedures.
- Testing and Education: Administer necessary tests and provide education to patients and their families to ensure a smooth and safe surgical experience.
- Quality Assurance: Review orders and ensure compliance with our Quality Assurance/Utilization Review Plan.
- Communication: Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patients receive a safe and efficient care environment.
- Education: Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Current State of practice RN License.
- Experience: Prefer at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
