Position Overview:

The Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest quality standards. This position requires a professional with experience ranging from 3 to 15 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) initiatives with suppliers.
  • Monitor and support suppliers during the part development process to ensure timely progress.
  • Review and assess Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation in accordance with Parker Quality standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive onsite supplier onboarding and perform process and product audits at vendor locations.
  • Investigate quality concerns at the supplier level, implementing root cause analysis (RCA) and ensuring corrective actions are effectively executed.
  • Maintain consistent communication with suppliers to guarantee their timely support for First Article Inspection (FAI), PPAP, and other quality requirements.

Required Knowledge:

Familiarity with key quality tools and methodologies such as PPAP, Supplier Audits, 7 Quality Control Tools, 8D Problem Solving, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility (Gauge R&R) is essential.
