About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Unit Supply Specialist in the Army National Guard. As a member of our supply chain team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our units and fellow Soldiers are well-equipped for any mission.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $40,000 - $60,000, depending on location and experience. With the Army National Guard, you will have the opportunity to earn a monthly paycheck, receive tuition assistance, and participate in the Montgomery GI Bill program.

Job Description

In this role, you will oversee the shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, including receiving, inspecting, invoicing, storing, and delivering supplies. You will also be responsible for maintaining automated systems, securing and controlling weapons and ammunition, and scheduling maintenance for weapons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Issue and receive small arms, secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas
  • Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons
  • Operate unit level computers

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, and/or typing
  • Excellent record-keeping skills
  • Physical stamina to work in a warehouse environment
  • An interest in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
  • Be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED certificate
  • Be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
  • Meet citizenship requirements
