About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide triage for work-related injuries and coordinate drug testing
  • Conduct assessments for third-shift employees and perform hearing screens, HEPB injections, respiratory fit testing, and spirometry testing as per directives and policies
  • Receive and evaluate illness-related absences, authorize justifications, and communicate with departmental supervisors
  • Administer required vaccines (Flu, etc.)
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in occupational health or clinical triage with knowledge of resources like audio metrics and spirometry
  • Proficiency in utilizing computer software, including word processing and spreadsheet applications like Word and Excel
