About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Atlas Copco Power Technique. As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of new products and maintenance of existing products that meet all aspects of product requirements, including performance and return on investment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop products with powerful customer impact using your engineering skills
  • Utilize your creative thinking and ambition to drive solutions for our customers with commitment, innovation, and interaction focusing on quality and cost
  • Assure product documentation (drawings, BOM) are up to date
  • Manage the release of engineering DN's
  • Conduct cross-functional team meetings to solve product problems during its life cycle
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-3 years as an Engineer in a manufacturing company or R&D design center
  • Prior experience in rotating machinery development is a plus
  • Prior experience working with Portable Energy equipment is a definite plus
  • Bachelor in Physics, Mechanical engineering
  • Good communication & multicultural inclusion and diversity

  • Able to deal with deadlines, being customer focused
  • Analytical approach to problem solving with a sense of urgency
  • Able to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • High competency of written and spoken English is required. Other languages are a plus
  • Software skills e.g. MS Office Suite, BPCS or SAP or other ERP software experience
  • Committed to accuracy and detail
  • Must have a proven track record of positive results
