Job Title: Registered Nurse - PreOp / PACU

Banner Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a PreOp / PACU RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to work in our Perianesthesia department. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in ED, ICU, or Perianesthesia and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and plan patient care in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.
  • Implement and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and breathing, and manage pain and nausea as needed.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in Arizona.
  • Recent experience in ED, ICU, or Perianesthesia.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
