Pediatric Nurse Specialist

Atrium Health Levine Children's, a leading pediatric healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). With a strong focus on patient-centered care, we strive to deliver exceptional service and support to our patients and families.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse with at least 6 months of experience in pediatrics to provide professional nursing care to our young patients. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients' physical and emotional needs
- Develop and implement personalized care plans to address identified needs
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state where you work and reside
- BLS certification per policy guidelines
- At least 6 months of experience in pediatrics, preferably in an EMU setting
This position requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy. You must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Additionally, you will need to speak English in good, understandable terms and possess intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
