Job Summary

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a strong background in medical-surgical nursing to join our team. As a Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients on our medical unit, including assessing their needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to promote optimal health outcomes.

About the Role
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and educating patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that take into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, including documentation of treatment plans, medication regimens, and lab results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia or eligibility for multistate licensure.
  • Minimum one year of experience in medical-surgical nursing, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Salary and Benefits
