Emergency Medicine Physician

Atria Physician Practice New York PC is a membership-based preventive health care practice delivering cutting-edge primary and specialty care from the comfort of your home, at our practices in Palm Beach and New York, or wherever you are in the world.
We bring together a multidisciplinary team of renowned, in-house physicians to provide proactive, preventive, and precision-based care for Atria members and their families. Our exceptional clinicians work closely with the 60+ members of the Atria Academy of Science & Medicine, top experts in their respective fields who are available for rapid consults, support, and referrals.
As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will:
- Assess patients' conditions to determine the severity of the problem.
- Speak with patients to elicit their medical history and learn the details of a patient's ailments.
- Perform physical examinations to diagnose and treat patients.
- Able to stabilize or attend to patients' basic needs and refer patients to a specialist, admit, or transfer the patient as necessary.
- Able to quickly assess a patient's condition with very little information, make a preliminary diagnosis, and immediately begin treating a patient.
- Effectively interact with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Effectively interact with a wide range of personality types and ages.
- Effectively fill out legal records of treatment and for the benefit of other healthcare professionals.
- Promote health education.
- Liaise with other medical and non-medical staff in the company to ensure quality treatment and work together as a team.
- Be available to respond to requests for house calls within a reasonable response time.
- Be available to take weekend calls at least once a month.
Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
ACLS certified, PALS certified
Residency trained and board certified in Emergency Medicine by ABEM.
5 years of emergency room experience preferred.
Experience with point of care ultrasound and diagnostic testing preferred (e.g. biofire).
Experience with Athena preferred, but not required.
Prior concierge medicine experience preferred, but not required.
