Job SummaryAs a skilled Architectural Historian with Terracon, you will be responsible for conducting architectural field evaluations, consulting with state and federal agencies, and performing National Register evaluations for standing structures. This position requires frequent overnight travel and the ability to work in physically demanding field conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform architectural surveys and make National Register recommendations.
- Prepare historic contexts for cultural resource reports and assist senior staff on larger projects.
- Oversee work performed by lower-level staff and approve or prepare reports for complex projects.
Requirements
- Minimum three months of experience in the eastern U.S.
- Master's degree or above in architectural history or historic preservation.
