Painter - Seasonal

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Painter - Seasonal to join our Maintenance Division at Carowinds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various painting and wallpapering applications to our properties. Key Responsibilities:

• Apply various paints and stain coatings to wood, metal, plaster, or other surfaces as required using brush, roller, or spray techniques.
• Remove old paint coatings and prepare surfaces as necessary to accept new coatings.
• Use various techniques to mix and match paint colors for accuracy as required.
• Paint rides and structural elements as necessary to meet ride maintenance guidelines.
• Provide guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving guests or working with subordinates.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work areas and perform all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements.
• Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Driver's license required.
• Ability to work independently and with others; ability to follow direction.
• Ability to work various shifts and days.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a mandatory or random drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
