Position Summary

The Manufacturing Manager is tasked with supervising all activities within the organization's facility. This role involves driving ongoing enhancements, boosting performance, ensuring productivity and efficiency, and maximizing profitability. Furthermore, the Manufacturing Manager is pivotal in nurturing employee development and executing effective strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the company's Safety Program and guarantee strict compliance with safety regulations.
  • Establish and meet operational goals, formulate production and sales targets, and create operational plans.
  • Organize and manage scheduled equipment maintenance.
  • Guide and assist direct reports in their professional development and success.
  • Promote and maintain company values among all staff members.
  • Work alongside the management team to enforce policies and procedures.
  • Regularly communicate with upper management regarding production-related matters.
  • Meet financial targets such as revenue, margin, and expenses.
  • Encourage effective communication across company departments and locations.
  • Build robust relationships with clients, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and efficient scheduling.
  • Consult with Human Resources on personnel issues.
  • Ensure adherence to all laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain facilities to ensure employee safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform any additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of three years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations management.
  • Preferred five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and effective team management skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean/TPS principles.
  • Accredited Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of OSHA regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical and presentation skills.
