About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Architect to join our Bing IndexServe team at Microsoft Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing large-scale distributed systems that enable our search and recommendation platform to serve the biggest index in the most efficient way.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop large-scale distributed systems with a focus on performance, latency, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in areas such as high-performance computing, distributed systems, and machine learning.
  • Lead the development of innovative algorithms and techniques to improve system performance and efficiency.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • OR equivalent experience.
