Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Travel Physical Therapist to join our team at IU Health Arnett Hospital. As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
  • Certification and Licensure: Possess current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a valid license to practice in the state of employment.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a PTA in an inpatient acute care setting, preferably with experience in managing high acuity ICU/PCU patients.
  • Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Productivity Standards: Meet or exceed productivity standards, with a minimum of 62% billable units per day.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, and to ensure seamless transitions of care.
Requirements
  • Certifications/License Required: PTA certification and a valid license to practice in the state of employment.
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license or passport, with a clear copy on file.
  • AHA Certification: Possess current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with RQI certification acceptable.
  • Online Verification of License: Complete online verification of license, including expiration date and any disciplinary actions.
  • HIPAA Acknowledgement: Complete HIPAA acknowledgement form.
