Job Title: Med Surg RN

CrossMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Med Surg Registered Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing opportunity in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Med Surg RN to provide high-quality patient care and support our team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Med Surg patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document patient responses and outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures, and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to patient needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, and ensure adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed, and assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Med Surg RN, with a strong background in patient care and communication.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program, with a current RN license and certification in Med Surg.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, push, bend, and pull.
  • Ability to grasp, push/pull, and move while assisting with procedures or operating departmental equipment.
