As a Registered Nurse ICU Float Pool, you will be responsible for providing care for patients in the Divisional Critical Care Resource Pool. You will be cross-trained over time to cover several different critical care areas, including Medical ICU, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Cardiac Surgical ICU, and Cardiac ICU. Assignments on each unit may extend across several weeks or months, allowing each nurse to develop a diverse set of skills.

As a Registered Nurse ICU Float Pool, you will be responsible for assuring competent, compassionate, individualized, nursing care for specific patients and families, including delegation to and supervision of non-professional clinical and support staff. The staff nurse is responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of a designated group of patients.

BSN is required. Current licensure in Massachusetts as a registered nurse is required. 2 years ICU experience. Full-time position 36 hour per week position 50/50 split between days and nights along with weekend and holiday requirements.
