Job Overview

CiminoCare seeks a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall appearance of our physical plant, including common areas and resident private units.

About the Role

This part-time or on-call position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant, ensuring the safety of residents and compliance with laws.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who can assist with:

  • Maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant
  • Providing transportation services for scheduled appointments
  • Assisting with inventory management of maintenance supplies
  • Attending staff meetings and in-service training as required
  • Practicing safety techniques when using tools and supplies
  • Timely repair or replacement of fixtures that need fixing or replacing
  • Maintaining grounds and performing light gardening duties
  • Cleaning outside walls and windows
  • Cleaning carpets as scheduled or needed
  • Touching up paint as needed or scheduled
  • Performing minor repairs
  • Ensuring garbage and recycle areas are clean and orderly
  • Overseeing operations of housekeeping department and laundry
  • Reporting any known or suspected elderly abuse to appropriate agencies
