Cherry Picker Operator Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cherry Picker Operator to join our team at a local distribution center. As a Cherry Picker Operator, you will be responsible for using a forklift to retrieve items from warehouse shelves for shipment and helping package and label them for order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cherry picker forklift to place or remove items on warehouse shelves
  • Package and label items for shipment
  • Keep track of shipments and product relocations within the warehouse
  • Use a cherry picker forklift with a work platform to elevate workers so they can check inventory
  • Follow all safety regulations
Requirements:
  • At least six months to a year of experience operating a sit-down cherry picker or forklift
  • Some shipping and receiving experience is preferred
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
