Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team as a travel professional. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Operate and maintain various pieces of equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients for imaging.
- Assist the physician during procedures, providing real-time imaging and technical support.
- Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and outcomes.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a cath lab setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
