Job Summary:

Penn Highlands Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Care Aid to join our team. As a Resident Care Aid, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Accompany residents to and from activities, dining areas, and other locations as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe environment for residents, redirecting them as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in caring for elderly clients is preferred.
  • Home Health Care or Certified Nurses' Aide Certificate is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid Certificates are preferred.
  • Must pass a drug test and background clearance.
