We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Specialist to join our team at SGA, a women-owned technology and resource solutions provider. As a Customer Care Advocate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers who have or are looking to obtain a Life insurance policy through their employer.

About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be handling customer inquiries via telephone, email, and other communication channels. Your primary goal will be to provide accurate product information, resolve technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer requests, addressing their concerns and queries related to life insurance policies.
  • Process transactions, prepare correspondence, and fulfill customer needs to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Analyze and resolve complex customer issues, escalating them to senior representatives when necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with company products, services, and policies to deliver informed support.
  • Meet performance metrics, including first-call resolution rates, customer satisfaction scores, and average handle time.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. 1-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to work under immediate supervision.
  • You must be able to work from home with a reliable internet connection (500-650 kbps) and a quiet workspace. Occasional on-site visits may be required.
  • Availability to work during business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 11:00pm EST, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Able to use video conferencing tools for interviews, coaching, and virtual training.
  • No prior experience working in the life insurance industry is required; however, relevant knowledge is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this role is $45,000-$55,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. You will also receive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
