At Avenue 81, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Perform various cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing, to maintain the cleanliness of facilities, common areas, and resident rooms.
  • Trash and Recycling: Empty and clean trashcans and recycling bins, and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors, to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Laundry and Linens: Clean and launder linens, towels, and other laundry items, and restock supplies as needed.
  • Event Support: Assist with event setup, cleanup, and maintenance to ensure a smooth and successful experience for our residents and guests.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and at least two years of housekeeping experience.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, with the ability to read, write, and speak the language.
