Job Title: Spatial Metrology Technician

Join ARKA Group, LP as a Spatial Metrology Technician and be part of our team responsible for measuring precision optics and optical assemblies. As a key member of our Metrology team, you will work with various spatial metrology tools, including large and medium-sized bridge-type Coordinate Measuring Machines, Laser Trackers, Portable Arms, and other emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct precision inspections and measurements in accordance with manufacturing documentation, process documentation, and technical requirements under the guidance of the Group Leader.
  • Ensure safe handling of in-process and deliverable hardware.
  • Comply with standard work requirements.
  • Support full compliance to Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, including working knowledge of blueprints and tolerances.
  • CMM Operating Experience, preferably on a Zeiss using Calypso.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Due to contract requirements, US citizenship is required. Additionally, if you are a dual citizen (a citizen of the US and another country), the Company must obtain approval for you to have access to the information required for this position.
