Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at our Middlebury, VT location. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our production team and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct responsibility for cheese and whey production to ensure quality, volume, cost standards, and customer specifications are achieved.
- Strong leadership for production employees, promoting a culture of ethics, integrity, safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Leadership abilities, including training, motivating, coaching, and leading others in great work.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Solid knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety and Food Quality (SQF) programs.
Requirements
Qualified candidates should have 3-5+ years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An associate's or bachelor's degree in a business or technical field with experience in dairy manufacturing is preferred.
