Position Summary:
This role is primarily focused on overseeing construction coordination for small to moderate-scale projects. The position operates under general supervision, ensuring effective management of construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Apply and uphold company standards in all aspects of work.

- Possess extensive knowledge of construction safety protocols, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining a zero-accident culture. Ensure that contractor operations are planned and executed safely and efficiently.

- Collaborate closely with construction contractors to strategize and coordinate daily field operations and logistical tasks.

- Act as the primary coordinator for all contractor activities on-site.


- Monitor contractor performance against project milestones and completion timelines, identifying any conflicts or potential delays in relation to other on-site activities.

- Develop contingency plans to address conflicts or delays in collaboration with fellow construction coordinators.

- Exhibit a proactive and self-starting attitude.

Qualifications:

Education:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Science, Building Science, or a related discipline from an accredited institution is preferred.


Licensing:
- No specific licensing is required for this role.

Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in industrial construction coordination and administration is essential.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with company business standards and best practices.

- A thorough understanding of the functions of various engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction processes.

- Hands-on field experience.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.

- Ability to manage client relationships effectively in complex scenarios.


- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders including customers, suppliers, contractors, and professional associations.

- Capability to maintain composure under stress.

- Insight into existing and prospective customer needs and preferences.

- Clear communication of expectations and requirements to team members.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with good presentation abilities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Willingness to work outdoors in varying climatic conditions.


- Ability to perform duties while utilizing personal protective equipment such as fire-retardant clothing, safety glasses, ear protection, and hard hats.
