Position Title: HVAC Technician

Salary: Competitive

Job Summary:
As an HVAC Technician, you will be accountable for the upkeep and functionality of HVAC and mechanical systems within commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise in refrigeration principles, control mechanisms, pipe installation, and structural configurations will be essential. You will conduct preventative maintenance, perform site evaluations, and execute replacements or modifications as necessary to meet client requirements. Your role will also involve servicing equipment on designated projects while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Skills and Experience:
Minimum of five to seven years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Utilize various hand tools and adhere to blueprints or engineering specifications to troubleshoot and repair HVAC units.
  • Diagnose, analyze, and rectify issues with equipment, instruments, and products at client locations.
  • Proactively identify and submit Work Change Authorizations based on client needs.
  • Maintain the company vehicle by keeping accurate records of service manuals and coordinating necessary maintenance and repairs with the warehouse manager.
  • Submit all required documentation and reports promptly.
  • Effectively use provided software applications to log customer interactions, labor, and work completed.

Educational Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution with a certification in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; or equivalent practical experience.
  • EPA approved Universal Technician Certification.
