Job Description

This position involves working on various projects, including data mining, performance chart generation, and tracking aftermarket notifications. You will also be responsible for evaluating non-conforming hardware and conducting inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Mining and Performance Chart Generation: Gather and analyze data to identify trends and patterns, generating informative charts and reports to support business decisions.
  • Aftermarket Notifications: Monitor and track notifications from suppliers, ensuring timely responses and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Hardware Evaluation and Inspections: Conduct thorough evaluations of non-conforming hardware, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Aerospace or Propulsion System Hardware Evaluation: Proven experience in evaluating aerospace or propulsion system hardware, with a strong understanding of technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Non-Conforming Material Inspections: Ability to conduct thorough inspections of non-conforming materials, identifying defects and recommending corrective actions.
  • Technical Competency: Proficiency in using MS Office suite tools, particularly Microsoft Excel, to create complex spreadsheets and perform data analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity with Aero-Engine Components: Knowledge of aero-engine components and assemblies, with a strong understanding of their design and functionality.
  • Basic Photography Experience: Basic photography skills, with the ability to capture high-quality images of equipment and materials.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
Work Environment and Requirements:
  • Office Environment: Work in a mostly office environment, with occasional shop floor involvement.
  • Computer and Telephone Work: Spend substantial amounts of time using computers and telephones, communicating with colleagues and customers.
  • Regulated Industries: Work in heavily regulated industries, requiring strict adherence to procedures and protocols.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range-dependent on experience, entry-level welcome to apply. We offer competitive salaries, ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
