We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Research Nurse to join our Oncology Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. As a Senior Clinical Research Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting the conduct of clinical trials in oncology, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position working four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7am-5:30pm. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience as an RN in oncology infusion or inpatient settings, with a strong background in clinical trials research. A multilingual RN is preferred due to the diverse population we serve.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Screen and enroll patients for clinical trials, providing education and support throughout the trial process.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and researchers, to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Manage data collection, documentation, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote patient engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of clinical trial protocols, standard operating procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as an RN in oncology infusion or inpatient settings.
  • Strong clinical trials research experience, preferably in oncology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
