About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Bariatric Surgery Program Manager. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the care of patients undergoing bariatric surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Patient Care
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients undergoing bariatric surgery
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
    • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Lead Clinical Teams
    • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
    • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Communicate Effectively
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
    • Communicate patient information and care plans to multidisciplinary teams
    • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Manage Administrative Tasks
    • Manage patient records and documentation
    • Coordinate with insurance providers and billing teams
    • Participate in budgeting and resource allocation
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Current RN licensure in the state of Delaware
    • BCLS certification
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
