Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team for a travel opportunity in Maywood, New Jersey.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work as a Physical Therapy Assistant, providing support to physical therapists in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a 13-week contract with 32 hours per week, working 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physical therapists in the delivery of patient care, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions.
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions under the supervision of a physical therapist.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning to promote optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of New Jersey.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
