Position Summary:
The Facility Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment. This position involves routine cleaning duties and upholding health and safety regulations within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the building's interior, including the removal of waste from outdoor areas.

Collect and properly dispose of trash and corrugated cardboard from various floors.

Conduct waste analysis and assessments.

Sort and separate recyclable materials, such as bottles and paper.

Operate baling equipment for processing corrugated cardboard for recycling.

Perform regular floor sweeping and cleaning tasks.

Clean and sanitize restrooms to uphold hygiene standards.

Ensure the main entrance remains free of debris and well-maintained.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is required.

Experience in warehouse or production/manufacturing settings is preferred.

Able to work in varying temperatures based on the season.

Capability to follow directions effectively.

Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 49lbs.

Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.

Bi-lingual skills (Spanish) are a plus.
