Job Summary:

JobsRUs is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in Irvine, CA. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling and testing a variety of moderately complex products to meet customer quality and on-time delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently assemble and test products to meet customer quality and on-time delivery schedules
• Perform lock wiring, first stage subassembly, and final detailing functions
• Work on products that contain mechanical components, single hydraulic systems, and multiple part numbers
• Actively contribute to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs

Requirements:

• Two or more years of industry-related experience in assembly/test in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrate product and process knowledge by applying it to newly learned techniques
• Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications
• Perform basic mathematical calculations, as well as demonstrate effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills
• Possess strong mechanical reasoning and effective interpersonal communication skills
