OVERVIEW

The IT Support Specialist is crucial in overseeing and managing customer assistance requests. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct both onsite and remote service interventions as required.
  • Assist clients with technology-related inquiries and challenges.
  • Diagnose and resolve a range of IT issues.
  • Install and troubleshoot IT hardware and software components.
  • Take ownership of assignments, prioritize tasks effectively, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Clearly communicate troubleshooting processes and solutions to clients.
  • Respond to network disruptions swiftly and efficiently.
  • Provide insights on recurring challenges and process improvements.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and satisfaction levels.
  • Stay informed about advancements in the IT and telecommunications sectors.
  • Comply with organizational quality assurance standards and procedures.
  • Facilitate training and mentoring for team members.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Operations Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License relevant to the primary job location.
  • Industry-recognized computer certifications.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in IT administration or technical support roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software systems.
  • Experience with various network and workstation operating systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service focus and meticulous attention to detail.
