Medical Support Specialist

Concentra Career Choice is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Work one-on-one with patients as a healthcare provider, monitoring their flow and delivering routine medical care.
- Handle blood draws, injections, EKGs, vitals, drug screens, and other medical procedures.
- Assist with patient onboarding, including obtaining medical histories and verifying patient information.
- Prepare patients for physical examinations, including taking vital signs and performing required testing.
- Provide assistance during examinations and treatment, as directed by the Center Medical Director.
- Perform ancillary testing and tasks, including DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
- Perform Front Office duties, including greeting patients, obtaining authorization, check-in/check-out, and communication of wait times.
- Assist with administrative tasks, as needed.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, training as a medical assistant, or military medical specialist with current credentials in the state of employment.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, clinical office environment.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) preferred but not required.
