As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for applying nursing skills to care for inmates/residents, attending sick call with the physician, and maintaining the confidentiality of medical records.
Key Responsibilities- Apply nursing skills to care for inmates/residents, including administering medication and documenting patient information.
- Attend sick call with the physician to examine inmates/residents and prepare a list of patients to be seen.
- Operate pill call, dispense medication, and document patient information as required by policies and procedures.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of all medical records.
- Graduate from an approved school of nursing with a certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Must be licensed in the state of employment.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
