Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Handyman Connection. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, mixing and applying paints, and ensuring high-quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Surface Preparation: Wash, scrape, burn, sand, sandblast, or other means as necessary to prepare surfaces for painting.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix, match, and blend paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve desired color, consistency, and drying properties.
  • Painting and Finishing: Paint using brush, roller, spray gun, or other applicator, and prepare walls and hang paper or other wall covering material.
  • Material Selection and Quantification: Determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects.
  • Customer Interaction: Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues, and present a description of a work order to a customer.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in helping homeowners.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Enjoy finding solutions for homeowners and surpassing expectations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Good collaboration skills with fellow craftsmen and strong communication skills.
  • Time Management: Strong time management skills and ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license and personal, reliable transportation.
Compensation:

$30.00 per hour.
