We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic Medical Unit team at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, implement and monitor patient care plans, and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and meet their individual needs.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses.
- Assess and document patient condition, communicating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
- Registered Nurse licensure required prior to hire date.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
