Role Overview: Associate Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team at Shegerian & Associates, Inc. As a key member of our labor and employment law practice, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases, from start to finish, and gain valuable experience in all aspects of labor and employment law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal counsel to clients on labor and employment law matters
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential legal issues and develop effective solutions
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients in court
  • Work closely with our seasoned attorneys to ensure seamless case management and client representation
  • Manage your own cases, ensuring that every client receives dedicated and personalized legal representation

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Labor and Employment Law: You have a deep understanding of the complexities of labor and employment law and can provide expert legal counsel to clients
  • Strong Negotiation Skills: You can effectively negotiate settlements and advocate fiercely on behalf of your clients
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: You are adept at analyzing legal issues and crafting innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Exceptional Communication: You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for articulating legal arguments and engaging with clients
  • Team Player with Independence: You thrive in a collaborative environment but are also confident in your ability to work independently
  • Litigation Experience: While not required, experience in litigation is highly valued
  • California State Bar Admission: You are either admitted to the California State Bar or have the ability to become admitted
  • Educational Background: You hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
