**Job Summary:** At Oaklawn Hospital, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper I to maintain a clean and safe environment for all patients, staff, and visitors.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Consistently demonstrate a commitment to excellence in maintaining a clean and safe environment.

• Utilize industrial cleaning equipment to sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors.

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, including removing stains from surfaces.

• Empties all trashcans and maintains a clean and organized workspace.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.

• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

**Requirements:**

• 18 years of age.

• One year of related experience preferred.

• Good communication and teamwork skills preferred.

**Working Conditions:**

• May be exposed to infectious diseases.

• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, push/pull, handle/grasp/feel, bend/twist, stoop/kneel/crouch, and lift/carry 25 to 49 lbs. Occasionally lift/carry 50+ lbs.
